美しく空間を保つ花瓶 – 花を生けても、そのままでも。マットな白い釉薬で仕上げた彫刻的なフォルムは、縁が柔らかく、伝統に根ざしています。信楽焼の三代目、丸井製陶が1,260年にわたる陶芸の技を受け継いで作られています。
それぞれの作品は、滋賀県甲賀市にある日本六古窯のひとつから生まれ、1976年に国の伝統的工芸品に指定されました。微妙な不揃い、有機的な形、質感のある表面に光が当たる様子 – これらはすべて手びねりによる作品の特徴であり、二つとして同じものがない証拠です。美しく重ねられる、または単独で存在感を放つ2つのサイズをご用意しています。
