The detachable burnt orange pocket is the perfect touch—I slip bus tickets and loose notes in there and it actually stays put. The small-batch printing gives the cover a slightly uneven texture that feels handcrafted, which I really like for my daily journaling.
The pages are beautifully ruled and the paper takes ink well, but what really sold me is that detachable pocket—I clipped it to the back cover and now my loose receipts and ticket stubs finally have a home. It’s compact enough for my desk drawer yet feels sturdy for daily jotting.
The burnt orange pocket slides off in seconds when I don't need it, which is perfect for switching between work notes and weekend journaling. Paper holds up well to my fountain pen without bleeding through, and the whole thing feels nicely weighted on my desk.
