テクスチャーのある海鼠釉（かいらぎゆう）が、あえてひび割れた表面を生み出します。伝統技法から生まれる有機的な模様。厚く施釉し、窯の熱で収縮させることで、暖かみのある中間色の表面に不規則な線が浮かび上がります。一点一点手作りで、模様や形状はそれぞれ異なります。
この長方形トレーは、テーブル以外でも活躍します。ドレッサーのジュエリー、玄関の鍵、デスクのペン、コンソールの小物収納に。どんな空間にも落ち着きを与える、テクスチャーのある温かみ。
美濃焼は、岐阜県東濃地域で何世紀にもわたって受け継がれてきた日本の陶磁器の伝統です。瓢山窯（ひょうさんがま）は長い歴史を持つ窯元で、陶芸家の工藤孝氏がその系譜を継いでいます。父・陸夫氏のもとで修行を積み、2005年に伝統工芸士（美濃焼）の認定を受けました。
