The oak has a warmth that photos don't quite capture, and after two years it's only gotten richer. I have the longest size holding a full run of LPs upright, and there's barely any bow in the middle. Mounting was fiddly without a second pair of hands, but that's on me.
I've owned a lot of cheap shelves that sag after a year, but this solid oak one hasn't budged even with a full run of LPs standing upright on it. The joinery is genuinely clean and it just feels like something my grandkids will still be using.
It's holding a full run of LPs with zero sag in the middle, which is exactly what I was worried about. The oak has a matte finish that doesn't fight with anything else on the wall. Ordered the middle size and it fits the space like it was measured for it.
