內頁包含五種格式，能容納一天中產生的各種內容。橫線頁，適合寫下值得記錄的事。空白頁，適合畫地圖、速寫、隨意思考。邊框頁，適合為值得框住的觀察留下空間。點陣頁，在需要結構時派上用場。十二個收集夾層（六個玻璃紙袋、六個牛皮紙袋），用來收納旅程中留下的實體證據：車票、收據、撕下的地址、壓乾的樹葉。
多數筆記本只預設一種用途。這本則能靈活應變。封面上的圖形字母，來自一個已不復存在的終點站系統，靜靜提醒著：任何旅程的最佳記錄，正是你自己親手保存的那一份。
