Didn't think I needed pedestals until my desk started looking cluttered, now everything has its own spot and the surface actually breathes. They group together nicely without looking fussy.
I stacked three of these on my desk to corral pens, clips, and a stray cable, and the whole surface finally looks intentional. The ash finish has a subtle grain that reads warmer in person than in photos. Grouping them at different heights turned out to be the fun part.
The weighted bases keep everything from sliding when I rearrange the shelves, which I do way more than I should. Grouping three of them under my monitor riser finally got the cable clutter off my desk.
