The lid doubling as a little tray is genius—I use it to hold paperclips while the box keeps my pens upright. Oak grain looks even better in person than in the photos.
The lid doubling as a little tray is genius—I keep paperclips and a spare nib in it so nothing rolls off my desk. It holds more pens than I expected for such a slim footprint, and the oak finish looks way nicer than the plastic cup it replaced.
I was worried a tall box would tip over, but the oak base is heavy enough that it stays put even when I yank a pen out. The modular setup means I can stack another piece on top later, which sold me over a cheaper single box.
