The way the light pools across my keyboard at night is genuinely calming, and the whole thing feels solid without being heavy. I love that I can just pick it up and carry it to the dining table when I need a softer glow while eating.
I've been moving it from my desk to the nightstand every evening and the way it throws that soft, focused light really changes the whole mood of a room. The stone-like texture on the base feels cool and grounding to touch, which makes it a pleasure to reposition.
The stone-inspired base has a nice weight to it, so it doesn't slide around when I adjust the head. It shifts from a warm glow on my desk to a sharper light for reading in the armchair without any fuss.
