The leaf-shaped uprights aren't just decorative, they actually carry the weight without any wobble. I've got mine loaded with heavy art books and it hasn't budged. The white oak finish looks way more expensive than what I paid.
The legs are honestly the reason I bought this — they're cross-sectioned like a leaf, chunky enough to actually carry weight but they don't look heavy. Two months in and it's still dead level, no wobble, even with books stacked on the bottom row.
I was skeptical about the leaf-shaped legs at first, but they're surprisingly solid and hold way more weight than I expected. The white oak finish matches my living room floor almost perfectly.
