The glossy black edge on these pads looks sharp against my walnut desk, and the three sizes mean I've got a small one by the phone and a big one for actual sketching. Paper takes pencil without any bleed-through, which I wasn't expecting at this price.
I grabbed the three-size set for my desk and the smallest pad is perfect for quick grocery lists while the biggest handles meeting notes. Paper takes ink without bleeding through, which matters since I use fountain pens.
The glossy black edge makes these look way nicer than the plain pads I used to grab, and the three sizes mean there's always one that fits whatever I'm doing. I've got the small one by the phone and the big one on my desk, and I actually reach for paper instead of my notes app now.
