HMM Black Mechanical Pencil

The twelve-sided barrel fits my hand like it was machined for it, and the matte black finish hasn’t picked up a single fingerprint after a week of daily sketching. It’s got that solid, planted feel on the desk that makes you want to keep writing long past when you should stop.

The weight distribution is spot on—my hand doesn’t cramp even after an hour of sketching. And the dodecagonal shape digs in just enough to keep the grip secure without feeling harsh, plus it hasn’t rolled off my desk once.

The twelve-sided barrel is a game changer—I can set it down on my slanted desk and it stays put every single time. It’s got a nice heft that makes sketching feel deliberate, and my hand doesn’t cramp even after a long session.
