The Tabata wall lamp emerges as a compelling intersection of light and sculptural form. In conceiving this piece, Luca Nichetto inverted the traditional relationship between form and function, creating first and foremost a work of art that happens to emanate light. The three interconnected metal modules appear to hover in space, their geometric composition offering a different visual experience from every angle.

When illuminated, the lamp transforms its environment through carefully diffused light, while maintaining its strong artistic presence even when unlit. Each piece is crafted by &Tradition, marking the continued dialogue between contemporary art and functional design in modern spaces.

Born into Venice's storied Murano glassmaking community in 1976, Luca Nichetto's design language reflects this rich heritage. Working between studios in Venice and Stockholm since 2006, he creates pieces that challenge the boundary between art and functionality.

&Tradition stands as a testament to design's capacity for meaningful impact, both aesthetic and ethical. As a certified B Corp, they merge environmental and social responsibility with their core mission: bridging Denmark's design heritage with contemporary innovation.

Hannah ★★★★★

Picked the burnt-orange colorway and it completely changes the mood of my reading corner. The sculptural shape catches the light in a way that makes it feel like a little art piece during the day. Even my husband, who never notices decor, commented on it.

Richard ★★★★★

The way it flips the usual lamp logic—where the shade becomes the star—is what sold me. The sculptural form throws the most interesting shadows on my wall, and guests always ask about it.

The sculptural silhouette is even more striking in person—it genuinely looks like a piece of art on the wall, not just a lamp. The inverted form catches light beautifully, and the matte finish feels premium to the touch. I picked the warmest colorway and it casts a gorgeous, ambient glow that comple
