Solid Brass Match Strike

Crafted for the elemental act of making fire, this brass striker offers controlled resistance against the match head. Its knurled exterior creates precise friction while forming geometric patterns—beauty and function converging in textured brass ridges. The vessel's weight anchors it during use, a deliberate counterbalance to the fleeting nature of flame.

The brass material—chosen for both its durability and tendency to develop a distinguished patina over time—creates an object that evolves with use. Each strike leaves its mark, building layers of character across the textured surface while the metal deepens into rich, complex tones.
