Made of raw brass with a mighty steel nib, this beautifully proportioned pen is polished by hand until it has a smooth sheen. But that’s not the point. The finish is left unsealed so it will acquire character over time. Something to which we all aspire.
The raw brass has already started showing faint fingerprints and wear lines after a week, which sounds like a flaw but honestly feels like the pen is becoming mine. That unsealed finish is the whole charm, and the steel nib glides smoothly enough that I keep finding excuses to jot things down.
