Metal Book Stand 2.0: Black

Metal Book Stand 2.0: Black - Main image
$70 $140 In stock

Category: The Desktop

The base of the Bookstand 2.0 is two flat planes of steel, crossed and angled — a form that reads as mid-motion even when nothing is in it. Set a book open inside and the whole object makes sudden sense: the spread pages and the splayed steel answer each other.

Matte black collapses the surface into the form — what you're seeing is the geometry, undistracted.

Claire ★★★★★

I keep it on my desk even when it’s empty because the angled steel planes just look like they’re about to snap shut—it’s genuinely a little sculpture. But the real win is how it holds a thick cookbook open flat without me wrestling with the pages. Solid purchase.

The crossed steel planes make it look like a tiny sculpture on my desk even when it’s empty, which is a nice bonus. It holds my cookbook open at a perfect angle while I’m chopping, and the whole thing feels rock-solid.

James ★★★★★

I nearly didn't buy it because it looked too minimal, but the crossed steel planes hold a thick hardcover open at a perfect reading angle, and it honestly looks like a little sculpture on my desk between uses. The whole thing feels incredibly stable, too.
