Textured kairagi glaze creates an intentionally crackled surface—organic patterns that emerge from traditional technique. Thick glaze applied, then shrunk in the kiln's heat, forming irregular lines across warm neutral tones. Each piece handcrafted, each one distinct in pattern and form.

This rectangular tray adapts beyond the table: jewelry on your dresser, keys in your entryway, pencils on your desk, gathered objects on a console. Textured warmth that grounds any space.

Mino ware carries centuries of Japanese ceramic tradition from Gifu Prefecture's Tono region. The Hyosankama kiln has a long history of pottery production, and ceramicist Kudo Kou continues that lineage. Training under his father Rikuo, he became a certified traditional mino ware craftsman in 2005.

The crackled glaze looks even better in person—those irregular lines catch the light and give it real depth. It’s the perfect size for holding my keys and wallet without cluttering the desk, and the thick texture feels sturdy.

The glaze's crackled lines look even better in person than in the photos—each one feels unique. It's heavy enough to stay put, and I've been tossing my keys and glasses in it all week.

The crackled surface catches the light in a way that makes it look like it’s shifting every time I glance over, and it’s become the first thing I reach for when setting down my keys and glasses. Even the rough texture feels satisfying to run a finger across, though I’m careful not to overthink it. I
