Shachihata has been making high quality ink pads in Nagoya, Japan since 1925. This understated pad comes with oil-based pigment ink, and the surface of the pad is designed to make full contact with a stamp. It produces a sharper and brighter result than a standard ink pad and works very well for fine details. Fast drying and water-resistant. Plastic casing snaps shut to keep ink fresh.

Part of our Japanese Minimalism collection.

Ryan ★★★★★

The oil-based pigment ink doesn't bleed through the thin paper I use for stamping, which was always my problem with cheaper pads. Only gripe is the lid takes a firm press to snap shut, but the crisp impressions are worth it.

Leo ★★★★★

The pad surface presses down evenly, so even my chunkier stamps come out crisp with no patchy edges. I've stamped about fifty times and the ink still looks fresh, not dried out at all.

Sofia A. ★★★★★

The ink dries fast and doesn't smudge, which matters when I'm stamping labels for my jars. The pad surface makes clean contact every time, so even my smaller rubber stamps come out crisp.
