Jan Vincent en Robert Wood kwamen vanuit de modewereld bij papierwaren terecht, en de chromatische intelligentie die die achtergrond met zich meebrengt, laat je niet zomaar achter. De voorkant en achterkant van dit A6-notitieboekje tonen twee verschillende vintage geometrische patronen — buckram-embossing, met goudfolie bij de tekst 'NOTES', en met een dikte van slechts 5 mm precies het soort dat in een tas glipt zonder veel op te vallen.
