1933년 특허 출원을 위해 처음 도면이 그려진 스탠다드 쿨리콘은 공장 바닥, 작업장, 윈스턴 처칠의 전시 벙커 주방에 이르기까지 거의 한 세기 동안 그 자리를 지켜왔습니다. 당시 수정이 필요 없었고, 지금도 수정이 필요 없는 디자인입니다.
도자기 공방에 가까운 장인들이 소량 생산으로 작업하는 동일한 15단계 습식 에나멜링 공정을 거칩니다. 독창적인 혁신인 통풍구 상단 갤러리는 여전히 설계된 대로 정확히 작동합니다. 주변 조명은 위로 퍼지고, 작업 조명은 아래로 깨끗이 비춥니다.

The enamel finish on this pendant is gorgeous in person, and the wide shade spreads a soft, even glow across the whole dining table. I went with the large size in a deeper color and it's exactly the vintage factory look I wanted. Wiring was straightforward and it feels genuinely solid.
Hung it over my workbench and the light spread is so even I barely need a task lamp anymore. The steel shade feels genuinely heavy in a good way, and the ribbed shape throws almost no glare back in my eyes. Wiring it up took ten minutes.
