I've been through a lot of rulers that slide around mid-cut, but the weight on this one actually pins the paper down like it's supposed to. The raised center edge is a clever touch, too—it lets me lift and shift without losing my line. Solid steel, solid buy.
The way the center edge lifts the ruler without losing my place is such a clever touch—I didn’t expect to care, but now I use it constantly for underlining notes. It stays put on the paper even when I’m writing fast, and the weight feels reassuringly solid.
The standing center edge is a game changer—I can slide the ruler under a stack of papers and lift it without disturbing my place, which my old plastic one could never do. It's got a solid heft that makes it feel built to last, and the black finish looks sharp on my desk.
