Black Shaker Boxes: Oval

The wood grain on these cherry strips is so even and warm that I actually keep one out on my desk just to look at it between uses. Assembly took me maybe ten minutes, and the oval shape feels far more elegant than the plain round boxes I've handled before.

The oval shape sits beautifully on my desk, and those copper fastenings catch the light just enough to feel crafted rather than machine-made. Cherry wood has a warmth to it that photos never quite capture, and I find myself reaching for it just to hold the lid closed. It’s rare to find something so

The copper fasteners are a lovely touch, and the thin cherry wood strips feel wonderfully light yet sturdy. I use mine to keep loose desk supplies tidy, and the oval shape sits perfectly on my shelf without taking up too much room. Exactly the kind of honest, functional piece I was hoping for.
