Nella primavera del 2015, Joel Meyerowitz è entrato in quello studio al 36 di Via Fondazza e ha fotografato ciascuno di essi: maneggiati singolarmente, posizionati sulla stessa superficie segnata di Morandi, nella stessa luce. Questa edizione ampliata e rivista aggiunge oltre 130 fotografie all'originale del 2016, insieme a un nuovo saggio di Amanda Renshaw e una bibliografia aggiornata.
