La ceramica Mino porta con sé secoli di tradizione giapponese dalla regione di Tono, nella prefettura di Gifu. La fornace Hyosankama vanta una lunga storia nella produzione di ceramiche e il ceramista Kudo Kou prosegue questa eredità. Formatosi sotto la guida del padre Rikuo, è diventato un artigiano certificato della ceramica tradizionale Mino nel 2005.
