Héléna Marie Vases: Deep Black

$19 ~~$38~~ In stock

Suunnitellut belgialainen taiteilija Marie Michielssen. Jokainen kappale on ainutlaatuinen ja käsin muovattu hänen paperimassa-veistostensa pohjalta. Hänen työnsä on vastakohtien yhdistelmä – rationaalinen ja intuitiivinen, maskuliininen ja feminiininen, graafinen ja orgaaninen; kietoutuneena ristiriitoihin muodostaen eklektisen kokonaisuuden.

I was genuinely surprised by how much presence these vases have on my desk - the cylindrical form feels substantial without being bulky, and the deep black finish makes them look almost liquid in low light. The slightly uneven contours are what sell it for me; they give each piece a hand-crafted cha

The sculptural, almost imperfect contours catch the light differently every hour—mine sits on my desk catching afternoon sun and it genuinely looks like a tiny piece of art. The cylindrical shape is simple but somehow commands the whole corner of the room, even when empty. I catch myself staring at
