These elongated pieces embody a delicate balance between utility and art. Each reveals Grouvel's pincée technique - precise pinches that build texture across the surface. The raw, matte off-white finish accentuates their sculptural quality, evoking natural formations.

Available in two thoughtfully considered dimensions—Small (up to 11" in height) and Large (11-13" in height)—these candleholders create an interplay of form, light, and shadow whether displayed individually or arranged in groupings. Their varying scales offer a subtle rhythmic possibility, allowing for dynamic compositional arrangements that engage with architectural space.

Grouvel, the Franco-Canadian ceramist behind Apollonie Céramique, began her journey with clay in 2014. Now based in Paris, she crafts exquisite stoneware and porcelain creations that embody a universe of sobering fragility and honest expression. Her work invites contemplation of the relationship between object and space, bringing a touch of Parisian atelier sensibility to each piece.
