Hergestellt vom Shigaraki-yaki-Meister Marui Seito in dritter Generation mit Techniken, die über 1.260 Jahre keramischer Meisterschaft weitergegeben wurden.

Jedes Stück entsteht in einem der sechs ältesten Brennöfen Japans in Koka City, Präfektur Shiga – 1976 von der japanischen Regierung als traditionelles Kunsthandwerk anerkannt. Die subtilen Unregelmäßigkeiten, die organische Form, das Spiel des Lichts auf der strukturierten Oberfläche: alles Kennzeichen von Handarbeit – und der sicherste Hinweis darauf, dass keine zwei Stücke identisch sind. Erhältlich in zwei Größen, die sich wunderbar kombinieren oder einzeln wirken lassen.
