Die Hako Soji tut das und thront dann auf Ihrem Regal, als hätte jemand eine sehr bewusste Entscheidung darüber getroffen, wie ein Behälter auszusehen hat – denn das wurde auch getan. Entworfen von Mute Studio und handgedrechselt in der Tradition der Yamanaka-Onsen-Lackkunst, wirken der kräftig rote Deckel und der natürliche Holzsockel so schlicht, dass sie unvermeidlich erscheinen. Ob auf dem Schreibtisch, im Badezimmer oder auf der Küchenablage – sie fügt sich überall ein. Drei Größen; eine sehr durchdachte Entscheidung darüber, wie ein Behälter aussehen sollte. Auf Bestellung gefertigt für Wms&Co., die Stückzahl ist begrenzt.

Gegründet 1930 in Ishikawa von Unomatsu Hata, ist Hatashikki ein Familienunternehmen, das heute in dritter Generation von Hata Manabu geführt wird – mit unveränderten handwerklichen Techniken in Holz und Urushi-Lack.
