The glaze on mine settled into this deep teal with rusty speckles near the edges—it honestly looks different every time I glance at it. I keep my earbuds and a few pens in the natural compartments, and they stay put exactly where I drop them.

I use mine to corral my keys and loose change at the front door, and the two compartments are exactly the right depth to keep everything visible but contained. The reactive glaze gives it an almost molten look in the sunlight, which is way more interesting than any plain ceramic dish I've owned.
