The sand flows so smoothly through that mouth-blown glass that I keep catching myself staring instead of working. Thirty minutes feels like a real block of time now, not just a number on a screen. It's oddly calming to watch the last grains drop and know I actually focused that whole stretch.
I've had it on my desk for two weeks and I still catch myself staring at it during calls. The hand-blown glass has tiny imperfections that catch the light in a way that makes the 30 minutes feel almost meditative, and not having a single notification pop up is honestly a relief.
The blue tint of the glass catches the light in a way that makes the falling sand look almost liquid. It’s strange how calming it is to watch those thirty minutes drain away without a single ping or buzz to interrupt.
